Pendleton Animal Welfare Shelter (PAWS) is a group of dedicated people who care about the fate of abused or neglected pets and the inhumane treatment of animals. They promote spay and neuter programs and are currently working to establish a shelter in the county to house and care for lost or abandoned pets.

PAWS welcomes volunteers, financial donations and any asistance in carrying out their services to the county residents and to their goal of having a local facility for dealing with a local problem.
